Job Description

The Merchandizing (MDZ) Senior Supervisor is responsible for translating group category objectives for his category in the areas of assortment structure & management, import, promotion, planogram, and trading terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying and meeting suitable suppliers/manufacturers.
• Managing stock levels.
• Negotiating prices, quantities, and delivery time scales.
• Predicting sales and profits, and producing reports.
• Handling supply/production problems as they arise.
• Communicating closely with store operations.
• Deciding which products should be stocked for each type and size of store.
• Gathering information regarding customers' reactions to products.
• Accessing and analyzing sales performance of different ranges and information.
• Plan the Training Schedule for MDZ requirements.
• Keep up-to-date on developments of the category managed.
• Achieve and forecast sales and margin for the category managed.
• Translate MDZ Budget and vendor negotiations for pricing and promotion.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from recognized universities
• Should have at least 2 years of experience in the merchandising or purchasing Field
• Computer Literate - MS Word & Excel
• Good communication skills
• Good command of English (spoken & written)
