Job Description

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the hospital is clean, tidy, free from clutter, and safe for all patients, staff, and visitors. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the reputation of the hospital and contributing to a positive patient experience. - Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures. - Ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the hospital. - Supervise all housekeeping staff and provide training when needed. - Coordinate with inter-departments daily for housekeeping services in patient rooms, surgery suites, clinical areas, offices and public areas. - Oversee end-to-end operation of waste management, linen management, and inventory management. - Monitor and report the housekeeping budget. - Maintain inventory and control of all cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment. - Ensure JCI and infection control compliance with health and safety regulations. - Monitor and evaluate staff performance and conduct performance reviews. - Communicate and collaborate with other departments: such as infection control, nursing, front office and maintenance, to ensure effective coordination and communication regarding cleaning activities and addressing any specific requirements or concerns. - Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job. - Address complaints and resolve problems promptly.

Requirements

Any Graduate Qualification : 5-year Experience : Knowledge of hospital operations, regulations, and compliance standards. : Strong leadership and management skills. : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. : Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. : Daily quick meet and briefing with the public staff. : Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. : Team player with the ability to motivate and inspire others. : Ability to adapt to change and handle ambiguity.
