Position Details

• Department: Global Transaction Banking
• Work location: MAB Bank, Yangon, Myanmar

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing Services for Trade (Import /Export) Processing and Documents & Data Checking

Detail Duties and Responsibilities

• Process import and export trade finance transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Verify trade documents and customer information for completeness and authenticity.
• Prepare and process trade finance transactions (LC, BC, BG, and Trade Financing) in the banking Flexcube system.
• Checking and verifying the shipping documents in accordance with applicable trade finance rules and regulations.
• Handle customer and Relationship Manager (RM) inquiries related to trade finance products and services.
• Checking and verifying the daily, monthly, and regulatory reports, including CBM reports.
• Support daily operational closing activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Job specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Trade Finance operations, preferably in Letter of Credit (LC) processing.
• Good understanding of international trade finance products and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Willing to learn and perform in a fast-paced working environment.
