Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the team leader in conducting audits across all branches.
• Conduct branch audits, including cash counts and reconciliation with Trial Balance and Vault Book records.
• Verify ATM cash balances at branches and public areas against ATM slips.
• Review Universal Counter transactions and vouchers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures.
• Verify security forms, safe deposits, and gold packets against register records and physical balances.
• Conduct physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile them with Head Office records.
• Review closed accounts to ensure compliance with account closure procedures.
• Review I-Banking user creation and customer information change reports against supporting application forms.
• Perform sample checks on TTR Reports and reconcile them with OAS Reports to ensure accurate regulatory reporting.
• Verify branch compliance with STR requirements and reporting to the Compliance Department.
• Review Credit Card issuance, supporting documents, approvals, and overdue account follow-up procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in internal or external audit, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Willingness to travel as required.
