About the Role
Thai Wah is hiring a Production Shift Lead for its TWPC modified starch plant in Tha Khantho, Kalasin, Thailand. The shift lead runs starch preparation and reaction processes to recipe and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare native starch, water and chemicals according to the specified batch formula.
- Check raw materials for correctness, quantity and quality before they enter production.
- Control starch mixing and slurry preparation to the required concentration and properties.
- Check and record key parameters such as solid content, pH, temperature and flow rate.
- Control the reaction process in the reaction tank according to the modified starch formula and production conditions.
- Monitor temperature, pH, reaction time and chemical dosing to specification.
- Take samples and carry out initial in-process quality checks according to the quality control plan.
- Inform the supervisor and coordinate with QA/QC when abnormal or out-of-spec values are found.
- Check the working condition of pumps, reaction tanks, agitators, valves and related equipment.
- Help keep production in line with quality, food safety and related standards such as HALAL, KOSHER, GHPS, HACCP and FSSC 22000.
