Design Technician

About the role

Job Description

• Design, develop, and deliver documentation under direction from the Designer.
• Draw layouts, sections, details, or other drawings to be used in conveying design intent to owners, sub-consultants, or contractors through all phases of design development.
• Assist in the production of schedules, specifications, and correspondence for the purpose of feasibility, cost analysis, procurement, and construction.
• Coordinate internally with the project team and sub-consultants.
• Perform clash analysis on documents as required.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the methods and techniques of CAD design.
• In-depth knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
• Working knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills.
• Passionate, willing to explore new ideas, innovative and think independently.
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and time efficiently.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team.
