Officer - Civil Engineer

About the role

ROLE PURPOSE

The Officer - Construction Engineer is responsible for overseeing engineering and technical aspects of construction and renovation projects and will work closely with related key stakeholders and vendors to ensure project goals are met on time within scope.

Project Planning & Coordination

• Support the team leader in planning and executing engineering projects.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, and align the scopes with the vendors.

Technical Oversight

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with our requirements.

Communication & Documentation

• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for necessary arrangements.
• Maintain detailed documentation including reports and project photos.

Quality & Risk Management

• Monitor project performance and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Knowledge & Skills

• Able to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
• Communication skills to work as a team.
• Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Autocad 2D.
• Able to work under pressure.

Education & Special Training

• Bachelor of Civil Engineer or related degree.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years experiences in construction field.

Language

• Capable of reading and writing in English (Intermediate).
