O&M Engineer

About the role

(A) Site O&M

• Maintaining Solar Plant uptime at or above internal benchmark
• Solar Site & Tower Site Preventive Maintenance
• Solar Site & Tower Site Power Equipment Corrective Maintenance
• Solar Site Meter Readings
• Tower End Meter Readings
• Village Mini-grid Preventive Maintenance
• Village Mini-grid Corrective Maintenance
• Handling Risks Proactively
• Maintaining Genset (or Mobile Genset) Run Hour Record
• Maintaining Diesel Filling record
• Genset maintenance as per company set schedule
• Root Cause Analysis for Faults
• Onsite support for Prototype Test at Field

(B) Coordination

• HOTO from Construction Team
• Coordination with NOC
• Coordination with Site Caretaker and YMP Manager
• Coordination with Village House Holds and Village Heads
• Revenue Collection from Household Customers, when necessary
• Data collection and report to O&M Coordinator at month-end
• Maintaining and reporting site assets details to O&M Coordinator

Qualification & Skills Required

• Electrical Engineering degree
• Sound understanding of Electrical Drawings

Experience Required

• 1-2 years of experience in telecom tower site maintenance preferred but not necessary
• Fresh graduates may apply but will need to undergo 6 months of training
• Experience with solar will be an added advantage

Desirable Skills and Attributes

• Working of knowledge of English and fluency in Myanmar language
• Good written, oral, and presentation skills
• Relationship management with customers (village households & tower customers)
