M&E Technician

About the role

Job Description

• Conduct weekly inspections and maintenance of common and public-area lighting systems.
• Handle and follow up on maintenance requests and complaints from residents and internal departments.
• Perform installation, repair, maintenance, inspection, and testing of building facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, sanitary, and general maintenance issues.
• Inspect building defects and report findings to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Monitor and follow up on contractor works to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors for maintenance activities.
• Operate company vehicles safely and follow all company procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and residents.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• BE/AGTI (Mechanical/Electrical) or relevant engineering/vocational qualification preferred.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems and equipment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of safety and equipment procedures
