Senior MEP Engineer

About the role

Job Description

• Understand the project design, client requirements, quality, standards to implement the execution of project.
• Capacity to prepare and review detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
• Manage multiple engineers in their roles and disciplines/capacities including teaching and mentoring staff.
• Assist CMIPM on preparation of project plans and proposal.
• Lead project coordination meetings, other forms of communication and coordinate the technical aspects of the project.
• Manage the preparations of site status & progress reports and keeps an accurate record.
• Prepare, review & comment as well as manage the process related to design drawings, shop drawings, method of statement, material list, purchasing technical specification, testing & commission, etc.
• Review material specification to ensure that quality requirement has been correctly conducted as per contract & design requirement.
• Provide engineering support to other divisions, departments, and external agencies.
• Prepare preliminary engineering design cost estimates and other information for management and project review.
• Lead regular site walk, observe & notice to main contractor for workmanship, installation method, defects, safety, procurement, etc.
• Can Manage and control main water supply & water treatment plant construction, main sewer line & wastewater treatment plant construction, low voltage & medium voltage construction, irrigation.
• System & low voltage substation construction work.
• Manage, track, and document all phases of construction projects, from the planning and layout designs through to final handover.
• Manage that all as-built drawings from main contractor supporting each project are received and organized in an efficient manner.

Requirements

Preferred BE (Electrical or Mechanical). Must be competent at Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, authority relation dealing with internal and external customers, quality assurance. Must have 5 Years and above experience in related field.
