A building contractor in Changi South is hiring a quantity surveyor to handle cost control and contract admin on its construction projects. The role covers claims, variation orders, take-offs and final accounts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare progress claims, subcontractor claims and supplier payments
- Track project budgets and spending
- Prepare variation orders and keep the supporting records
- Do quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements
- Get quotations and help prepare and evaluate tender documents
- Work with PMs, engineers and subcontractors; help with final accounts and cost reports
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or similar
- At least 3 years of building construction experience in Singapore, including subcontractor work
- Basic knowledge of contract administration and construction costing
- Good with MS Excel/Office; independent and good at coordinating
