Industrial packaging maker Greif is hiring a warehouse assistant for its Pioneer site. You'll handle packing, receiving, stock records and keep the warehouse tidy and safe.
Responsibilities
- Pack finished goods correctly against packing plans and shipping documents
- Receive and issue materials on a first-in, first-out basis
- Record all stock movements promptly in the inventory system
- Join stocktakes, cycle counts and customer/ISO audits
- Keep the warehouse clean and organised and make sure delivery drivers follow safety rules
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods and safety issues to the supervisor
Requirements
- Valid forklift licence
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics role
- Education in logistics, business administration or a related field
- Accurate with stock records and the inventory system
