Job Description

Engineer of the Solar Service Team assists in the planning, execution, and management of solar energy projects. This role involves coordinating with senior engineers, conducting site assessments, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues to enhance the performance and longevity of solar systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the suitability of locations for solar installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar energy systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and implement solar energy projects.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all work activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar energy technology and best practices

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3 years) of experience in solar energy service operations or related field.
• Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including design, installation, inverters, maintenance and monitoring systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Occasional requirement to work during office hours or weekends to address urgent repairs to operational issues and travel to service sites is required.
