About the role

Warehouse Manager will lead warehouse operations and ensure efficient and effective management of our inventory and distribution processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to streamline warehouse processes, maintain accuracy, and ensure a safe and efficient working environment. high standards of food safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations
• Ensure timely and accurate traditional warehouse and cross-docking operations to maintain supply chain efficiency.
• Responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse operation, ensuring efficient inbound, outbound, and cross-docking processes.
• Oversee the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations.
• Process Improvement
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and customer service departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Handle customer returns and manage damaged goods.
• Food Safety and Compliance
• Ensure the warehouse complies with food safety regulations and warehouse cleanliness protocols.
• Manage warehouse operations with strict adherence to GHP, HACCP, and ISO22000 protocols, ensuring the segregation and preservation of food products in temperature-controlled environments.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
• Team Leadership and Development
• Conduct daily briefings, monthly team meetings, and ground KPI reviews to align the team with operational goals.
• Lead team-building activities and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Develop and mentor team members through regular feedback, training, and performance appraisals.
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow
  Continuous Improvement Initiatives
• Implement and monitor daily 5S programs to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
• Drive continuous improvement through problem-solving, innovation, and employee engagement.
• KPI Monitoring and Reporting
• Track and report key warehouse performance metrics (KPIs) to senior management.
• Prepare and submit reports on warehouse operations to upper management.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory levels.
• Inventory Management
• Ensure accurate inventory management and minimize stock discrepancies through effective control measures.
• Coordinate with the inventory and logistics teams to align stock levels with operational needs.
• Be part of an inventory audit team leaders, conduct weekly stock audit and ensure stock loss target is achieved.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in cold chain logistics.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO22000, GHP).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven experience in warehouse management.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
