About the Role: Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo is hiring an Engineering Technician for its Facilities Management (Engineering) team at the hotel in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. You will repair and maintain hotel facilities to a high standard while keeping costs in check, and help give every guest and colleague a comfortable, safe environment. The role reports to the Director of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities: - Maintain, inspect and repair hotel facilities and equipment. - Look after electrical, air-conditioning, water supply and drainage systems. - Respond to breakdowns and urgent problems. - Handle equipment-related requests from guests and hotel departments. - Coordinate and supervise work by outside contractors. - Follow safety standards and the law. - Take part in improvements that make equipment more efficient and reduce costs. - Support the day-to-day running of the Engineering department.
